ABOVE: The raised dining room expresses raw elegance in
continuum with the rest of the home. A solid wood slab dining
table complemented by cream linen and solid wood chairs
is joined with a sofa to host and encourage warmth during
more formal dinners. A custom designed 15-foot mirror is
strategically placed on the fir wood planked wall to introduce
the effect of an even larger space. The laser-cut metal and
crystal chandelier, both raw and elegant at once, drapes just
below the timber rafters that grace the ceiling.
BOTTOM RIGHT: Upon entrance through the hand-carved
solid wood front doors, the eye is immediately drawn up
and out. The timber beams extend from floor to the 12-foot-
high ceilings throughout the home. The entire south side
of the home is laced with large windows and glass doors
commanding your attention to the beauty just beyond–
panoramic mountain views and the sophisticated outdoor
living space.
FACING PAGE TOP: Two rectilinear fireplaces are nestled
within the wood wall, creating an artistic focal point. Recessed
lighting above reflects off the surface of the wood wall, subtly
highlighting its grain.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: A sense of raw elegance continues
in the kitchen where soft green walls mingle with stone and
the clear tongue-and-groove cedar ceiling to offer a sense of
serenity. A central island provides flexible workspace, while
bar-height counter allows guests to easily converse with the
home chef.
