This wonderful house was built by Mrs. Elizabeth Nelson Smith Atkinson in 1884. Following the death of her husband
May 3, 1883, Elizabeth purchased the lot across the street from her son, William Mayo Atkinson. Within a year the
construction of her Greek Revival style home was completed.
Current owner is Alison Romine.
