This home was built by J.S. Douglass who was a banker.
The living room features beautiful, large oak beams, oak
crown molding, and oak floors with walnut inlay. A
longleaf pine floor and beadboard ceiling compliment
the sunroom. Three large stained glass windows and
high oak raised-panel wainscoting grace the dining
room. Most of the hardware and the light fixtures are
original as well as the upstairs bathroom fixtures and
three fireplaces.
The porte cochere on the north and the screened-in
porch on the south, as well as the back carriage house,
add to the charm of the home owned by Mary Maureen
Davis.
