Barnard Griffin produces a wide range of popular varietals
including Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, and Sauvignon
Blanc. Visitors to the winery are also offered the exclusive
range of limited production and reserve wines available only
at the winery.
Rob's early vision of handcrafting the highest quality
Washington wine and his uncompromising attention to
quality, consistency, and character continue to be the driving
forces at Barnard Griffin—especially as he and Deborah move
to incorporate a second generation of leadership into their
winemaking family. Their daughter, Megan Hughes, who
likewise developed a passion for Washington wine from an
early age, acts as assistant winemaker and enologist, thus
following in her pioneering father's trailblazing footsteps.
TOP: The kitchen at Barnard Griffin includes a stunning glass bar made by
co-owner Deborah Barnard and is open for lunch and dinner most days.
