tasting notes
A concentrated dark fruit of berries and plum greets the palate
and melds into smoky black pepper and dark espresso along
with leather and humidor. These notes, together with balanced
tannins and acidity, create a long smooth finish that lingers and
impresses.
winemaker's insight
Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Antoine Creek Vineyards,
a unique growing site on the banks of the Columbia River, in
the northern portion of the Columbia Valley AVA. Our grapes
are grown on the hottest, highest point of the vineyard on very
rocky soil. Antoine Creek sits on an alluvial plain, providing for
interesting, exciting wines. The result is a well-balanced
Cabernet Sauvignon.
