Classic Washington State black and blue fruits, pepper, and spice
with hints of mint and smoke enhance the full-bodied wine. It's
ripe yet still elegant, with a fresh profile on the palete. The color
is inky black as you swirl, and it coats the side of your glass.
winemaker's insight
The Secret Weapon name is dedicated to my best single
vineyard, single varietal lot for each vintage. The Secret Weapon
has been Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah to
date. The decision is made right before bottling while tasting
through barrels individually.
