CABERNET SAUVIGNON COLUMBIA VALLEY
gourmet pairings
Pairs well with ribeye steak,
lightly-seasoned filet mignon,
or rack of lamb.
tasting notes
Packed with floral aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry,
black cherry, and plum fruit, intertwined with nuances of
cacao nib, anise, soy, forest floor, and minerals, the Cabernet
Sauvignon Columbia Valley is complex but approachable. Its
silky texture shines throughout, leaving a lasting finish.
winemaker's insight
Great wine starts in the vineyard. In hot growing seasons, the
winery uses custom-designed overhead misters to cool the fruit
on the most extreme days. Nearly all of the grapes ripen under
perfect 70-degree Fahrenheit temperatures in October, giving
the winemaker concentrated grapes, full of flavor. This Cabernet
Sauvignon is sourced from the Champoux, Palengat, and Wallula
Vineyards. The wine matured in new French oak barrels for 20
months to create a complex but silky wine.
