Signature Wines and Wineries of Washington
After struggling to find a home for their winery over several
years—the pair were involved in Hollywood-worthy challenges
to land rights for a time—Stacie and Russ opened Hamilton
Cellars' first tasting room in 2011. Then in September 2014, the
Hamiltons were finally able to realize their dream of owning a
vineyard on Red Mountain. Today, they live and work on Red
Mountain, where their Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired tasting
room welcomes guests eager to learn about Washington
wine. With over 10 acres of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit
Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot varietals planted at the
Hamiltons' winery Bel Tramanto, which translates to "beautiful
sunset," the vineyard consistently produces captivating,
award-winning wines that reflect the spirit of the region.
Guests love the annual events at the winery, including Porks
& Corks blending contest for wine club members in April, and
Cheeseburgers in Paradise in August. Premier landscaping and
the spectacular view of Red Mountain make the winery and
tasting room perfect for weddings and outdoor celebrations.
