The winery has not been able to have the Viognier scored as
the wine club buys it out each year, prompting Barrage Cellars
to increase production to share this wine with others. The most
current wines before publication were entered into the 2018
San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition—where nearly
7,000 wines were considered—and earned Barrage Cellars
prestigious medals. The 2013 Cease & Desist Cabernet earned
Double Gold, the 2013 Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon
received Silver, the 2013 Quinella Merlot received Bronze, and
the 2016 Nuclear Blonde Chardonnay took home the Silver
medal. Truly, the lineage of all Kevin's wines holds prestigious
points and scores showing that Kevin Correll of Barrage Cellars
is a hidden gem.
Wine Club members receive wines twice a year and enjoy
exclusive wine release parties in spring and fall. Barrage
Cellars participates in numerous functions throughout the
year and offers private tours as rewards for the highest bidder.
Events include the Auction of Washington Wines, the Evergreen
Hospital Gala, Grapes on the Green- Benaroya Research Institute
for Virginia Mason, the JDRF Gala, and events for the Children's
Hospital Uncompensated Care Guilds to mention a few.
