Also in the portfolio is the Abracadabra Rosé, an equally magical
blend featuring aromas of ripe strawberries and subtle notes of
peaches and orange blossoms. Latin for "golden lady," Oriana is
a white blend of primarily white Rhône varieties that boasts crisp
acidity and a rich aroma of tangerine, apricot, ripe pear, and apple
with touches of honey and anise. Tuttorosso—Italian for "all red"—
is a Sangiovese based blend inspired by the super-Tuscan wines
of Italy and brings to mind the richness of Tuscany in autumn. A
southern Rhône-style blend, Byzance, French for "luxurious," is
just that: a luscious red blend with a complex nose of bright red
cherries, tar, white pepper, and garrigue spice reminiscent of the
fields of Provence.
Rounding out the portfolio are: Corrida, a Tempranillo-based Rioja-
style blend with a garnet hue and a lingering finish; Le Coursier,
a right bank-inspired Bordeaux blend with generous aromas
and an age-worthy balance; Trentenaire, a unique Petit Verdot-
based blend; and Solesce, the left bank or Cabernet Sauvignon-
dominated blend that started it all. Brian and his team regularly
create other blends depending on the grape varieties acquired,
leaving consumers continually thirsty for the magic produced
each year at Brian Carter Cellars.
