Driven to create art in all aspects of her life—most importantly in winemaking—
Kasia Kim, founder and winemaker of Kasia Winery, has crafted a portfolio of
wines that each tell a story. From the year and the choice of the varietal to
naming the wine and creating its label, each step in the winemaking process
is honored with passion and dedication to create a wine experience that
pleases the palate while standing out from the crowd.
Since 2014, Kasia Winery has produced wines that are full of personality,
with names that include "Open Highway"—an homage to the music of Bon
Jovi—"Moxie," and "Off the Hook." The award-winning Open Highway Syrah
expresses a spirit of freedom: to go anywhere; moving as quickly or as slowly
as you'd like. Off the Hook Dry Rosé is a pale, salmon color Rosé made in the
French style with an "off the hook" flavor that consumers love. Finally, Moxie,
crafted from Mourvèdre, an arguably challenging varietal, is the epitome of
the courage and vigor required to work with the fruit itself, and winemaking
as a whole.
With a full-hearted approach to winemaking, Kasia only uses the finest
grapes from Red Mountain AVA and French oak barrels from top cooperages
in France to craft her wines. The result is showcased in each sip, which artfully
represents the best of what the terroir offers. When guests visit the tasting
room at Kasia Winery and speak with Kasia herself, they know that they're in
the presence of an exceptional wine experience inspired by true joie de vivre.
