L'Ecole N° 41 is recognized as one of Washington State's leading
producers of premium Merlot and this rich and generous estate
vineyard blend represents one of the best. The elegance and
old-world structure of Seven Hills Vineyard adds complexity to
the earthiness and minerality of the basalt soil from Ferguson
Vineyard. It's an impressively structured, cellar-worthy merlot
that includes small quantities of cabernet franc and cabernet
sauvignon.

L'Ecole N° 41's goal is to achieve stylistically expressive
and aromatic wines that allow the vineyard's individual site
characteristics to shine through. We believe in well-balanced
wines, good acidity, firm but not over-powering tannins,
complementary oak extraction, and vibrant, expressive aromas
and fruit flavors–all fully celebrated in this blend.

MATURATION: Cleanly racked to 100% small French oak barrels, with
several rackings over 18 months.
CELLARING: May be enjoyed upon release or cellared up to 15 years
