A sophisticated wine with an impressive balance of intensity
and elegance, the Feather Cabernet Sauvignon offers generous
aromas of black cherries and dried rosemary, as well as nuances
of French oak. The firmly-structured wine features a soft and rich
palate as the wine's dark fruit flavors glide over refined tannins
for a long, pleasurable finish.
winemaker's insight
Hand-harvested grapes were sorted, lightly crushed, and
fermented in stainless steel tanks and received aggressive pump-
overs two to three times a day to extract structure and color. As
fermentation neared completion, pump-overs became gentler to
coax out delicate tannins and texture.
