The winery is a family affair, Matt is the winemaker and
vineyard manager who ensures that the wines remain dynamic,
possess a depth of flavor, and offer a consistent finish. Nearly
everything they do is by hand, including planting the vines,
trellising, pruning, dropping fruit, and picking and sorting the
berries at harvest. Amanda and Angela share responsibilities
for customer relations, compliance, and other business
operations. It's a labor of love for the entire team—and the
entire team is all in. As an estate winery, only Reynvaan Family
Vineyard grapes are used to produce the wines.
Over the last ten years, the vineyards have produced more
than 40 wines with international critics' scores of 95 and
higher, but two wines stand out. The 2010 "Stonessence" is a
100 percent Syrah from the In the Rocks vineyard selected by
Wine Spectator as the number 11 wine in the world.
