also includes wine grower and general manager Ryan Sams and
winemaker Dirk Brink. Above and beyond relishing the beautiful
wines that are produced, Steve and Jo Marie find so much joy in
meeting each and every guest who comes to Basel Cellars and
sharing the beautiful winery experience that captivated them
since their first weekend visit there in 2004.
Basel Cellars has three tasting rooms, having added Woodinville
and Leavenworth locations to the mix along with the original
Walla Walla estate, where wine lovers can sample the full
portfolio including Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Claret, Merlot, Malbec, Carmenere,
and Syrah.
But, if you ask Steve and Jo Marie, the most superior tasting
opportunity is really at Walla Walla—it's the true expression of a
wine country escape, where guests can even stay overnight at
the estate and fully experience its lush surrounds that feature
the majestic house along with a pool, hot tub, private movie
theater, and multiple outdoor barbecues and patios.
Basel Cellars Estate Winery not only hosts getaways for
friends and families, but also private events, corporate retreats,
weddings, and more. It's a chance to live like royalty for a few
days—and drink like a king or queen, too.
