steep sandstone cliffs. Additional vineyards planted with
Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Noir are located in Monterey
County's Arroyo Seco appellation.
Hailed as one of the top winegrowers and producers in California,
Wente Vineyards' portfolio includes more than 40 different
wines. These are single-vineyard and estate-grown tiers of
wines such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah,
Sauvignon Blanc, and some Riesling. There are bold complex
blends in the Bordeaux and Rhône styles and varietal bottlings
of Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Sirah.
Wine tasting is divided in two locations: the estate winery and
visitors center on Tesla Road and at scenic grounds of the Arroyo
Road property (the former historic Cresta Blanca Winery) at
the terraced vineyard tasting room. Here visitors can enjoy fine

A Wente experience offers a variety of tours from wine and
cheese pairing in the sandstone caves to private group tastings
