Cabernet Franc pours a rich red garnet into your glass, with
aromas that bring to mind a bowl of mixed berries with
tantalizing brown spices. Across the palate, you will find
raspberries and cherries with a pinch of cardamom, cloves, and
allspice. The smooth finish is like a waterfall of juicy, red fruits.
winemaker's insight
Cooper-Garrod wines are made from estate-grown, sustainably
farmed, hand-harvested organic grapes. The mountain vineyards
are picked in multiple lots for ideal ripeness. Destemmed whole
berries ferment in small fermenters with native yeasts. Naturally
occurring malolactic fermentation completes in barrel and is
followed with minimal effective sulfur. The wine is pad filtered at
bottling. This minimal intervention is the sum of our actions.
