Two Aleksander Bordeaux-style blends are produced each
year: a white label and a black label Reserve. The white label
wines amount to nearly 80 percent of the annual production,
while the more limited production Reserve makes up the
remaining 20 percent. The two labels differ in varietal
composition, special barrel selection, and aging period.
With varying additions of Bordeaux varietals, the Merlot-
based wines may have Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc,
Malbec, and Petit Verdot. While forming the blend each year,
both yield and grape quality are taken into account. This
ensures they reach their goal of crafting an elegant Old World
wine with the beauty and intricacy of today.
