of Tempranillo. He then spent nearly 10 years as a winemaker in
Paso Robles before working in the Willamette Valley of Oregon
and again in Virginia. During this time he began consulting for
CaliPaso before being named the Director of Winemaking in
2013. Assistant winemaker Enrique Torres works side by side
with Alan (they have worked together for over 15 years), and
together they operate under the simple philosophy that great
wines are a natural art form where the hand of man is lightly
placed to direct the results.
As the early summer morning mist was beginning to clear in 2013,
Jaime Glenn sat in the courtyard and listened as Mr. Wu shared
his vision for the winery. Having worked in the wine industry for
almost two decades, Jaime knew something special when she
saw it. She joined the company as Chief Operating Officer and
