tasting notes
Ensemble is a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc. Incredibly rich
in color, the wine has notes of sweet tobacco and
Vanilla that lead to blueberry pie on the nose. This full-bodied
Bordeaux blend excites the palate with flavors of cranberry,
bright red fruit, and dried cherries with good structure and
perfect balance. Incredibly elegant, this wine is wonderful now
but will continue to age beautifully.
winemaker's insight
When the grapes reach peak flavors, they are hand harvested,
sorted, and fermented in small open-top bins. The pressed juice
is aged in oak barrels, hand-picked for each varietal.

APPELLATION: Paso Robles
COMPOSITION: 32% Petit Verdot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26%
Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec
MATURATION: Aged for 18 months in 40 percent new oak—a
combination of French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels.
CELLARING: Phenomenal now but can be cellared for seven to 10 years.
