BELOW & FACING PAGE: Located only 15 minutes from downtown Washington, DC, this home puts its focus on the nearby
Potomac River and surrounding forest. Ideally, you'd forget the house is even there, or have difficulty determining whether you're
outside or in. We relied on "dry" architecture—sustainable materials like glass, steel, and brushed aluminum—for the exterior,
while the interior features warm woods such as fine-grain maple plywood. With the roof elegantly sloping to the ground, it feels
like you're in the clouds.
