THE MODERN RESIDENCE
BELOW & FACING PAGE: We built the Garrison House on a dramatic cliff overlooking the Hudson River. This "green" house and
garden features a planted meadow roof, corner windows to capture views of Bear Mountain and down river, and an enclosed
entry rock garden. The main floor features an open living-dining-kitchen anchored by a stone fireplace, the master bedroom,
and a separate guest cottage/music room. We used cedar, steel, glass, and stone. The tower houses a home office and an upper
deck with views to West Point.
