FACING PAGE TOP LEFT: The open floor plan is anchored with a wood-
burning fireplace in the main entertainment space. We wanted to emphasize
the surrounding natural beauty and refrain from blocking any sightlines,
so the continuous panoramic view is seen through the floor-to-ceiling glass
wall composition.
FACING PAGE TOP RIGHT: Strengthened through the continuity of materials
on the ceiling and floor, the open floor plan shows off the simple, stunning
aesthetic of the elements used to create the home. All upper-floor spaces flow
out to the exterior porch space.
FACING PAGE BELOW: We accentuated the indoor-outdoor relationship with
the exterior open porch. The large cantilevered roof and deck highlight the
provocative form and provides an inspiring view to the Vermont landscape.
