BELOW: The main house is a warm wood structure with two-bedroom suites that are set off from the double-height living area.
Carefully planned piers support the house while avoiding the tree roots below, allowing water and air to reach the soil and root
system. With this "transparent footprint," the structure's impact on the native ecology is minimized.
