Signature Wines and Wineries of Coastal California
A lifelong dedication to learning and adopting the smartest
techniques has propelled Pomar Junction to dedicate itself to
sustainability, achieving certification in the SIP (Sustainability
In Practice) program within the Central Coast Vineyard Team.
Keeping with the sustainable theme, a 1920s farmhouse on the
property was converted into the tasting room in 2008, with
the winery itself following in 2011. In 2013 alone, they produced
8,500 cases.
Wine-lovers seek out Pomar Junction's Chardonnay, Viognier,
Grenache Blanc, Syrah Rosé, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Grenache Noir,
and various blends. Pomar Junction offers an extensive Wine
Club with fun "pick-up parties" at the nearby family 285-acre
ranch as well as the Pomar Junction Vineyard. We offer private
tastings in our family wine cellar which holds 1,000 cases of wine.
We also offer vineyard tours around our various properties in the
El Pomar District of Paso Robles. Our tours and tastings offer
various Pomar Junction wines while describing its sustainability
practices, sharing the history of the winery, and learning about
everything that happens while turning grapes into wine.
