TRAIN WRECK
gourmet pairings
Train Wreck pairs perfectly
with the smokiness of a filet
mignon, as its silky tannins and
robust dark fruit complement
decadent sauces and pepper
notes.
tasting notes
Train Wreck is a collision of six different varieties that highlight
the Paso Robles El Pomar District growing region. This wine
is no accident, as it was carefully crafted to exude layers of
intense flavors such as black currents and dark stone fruits while
exhibiting soft, velvety tannins.
winemaker's insight
The grapes which are SIP certified, are gown in a sustainable
manner in the El Pomar district of Paso Robles. Linne Calado
soils on southwest-facing slopes, combined with Templeton
Gap cooling breezes, help produce ultra-premium wine grapes.
Extended cold soak pre-fermentation helps extract out the color
and flavors of this elegant wine.
