ABOVE: The goal of these combined living areas was to have as few partitions as possible, to open up the spaces so they could communicate with each other while
still having a sense of scale, texture, and individuality. The exposed steel beams that replaced walls and decorative screens on the balcony above add character. Mixing
materials creates an industrial look, blending the natural elements with more refined lighting and furniture.
