7 ABOVE: Mitchell Gaudet's Love Story is a custom art installation that steals the show in this master bedroom. Made of sand-cast glass, each page contains one word that, when strung together, read like a book and tell the story of the couple who live here. I designed the floating coffee bar just below the artwork, with a pattern that mimics the look of the coffered ceiling. A design collaboration between Erica Larkin Gaudet and myself, the bed features pearlized pleated leather topped with custom bedding. RIGHT: When my client first asked me to find a glass bathtub—she had seen one while traveling—I didn't know that it would end up being an engineering feat. Difficult to create but well worth the effort, the powder-coated custom stainless tub is supported by the pony wall and has double panes of glass that can withstand a great deal of pressure when full. The bottom of the tub was created to be level with the floor for a seamless look. Sometimes rules are made to be broken." —Tanga Winstead
