The beautiful veining of the Calcutta stone is the centerpiece of this kitchen, where a good amount of entertaining occurs. Photograph by Colleen Duffley TOP RIGHT: To accommodate a large family and lots of gatherings, the ample cabinetry was carefully thought out, while a clean glazed brick forms the backsplash and stainless steel details are tied into the hood. The wide oak flooring goes throughout the home and was stained to match driftwood f rom the beach. Soft linen drapery with silver stitching was used along the entire back wall of this level.
