375 TOP LEFT: We used an eclectic mix of wood, metal, glass, and stone that satisfies both classic and contemporary styles for this dining room. Curved design elements convey a modern flair, while earthy tones and natural materials give the setting an informal edge. TOP RIGHT: Mixing unique patterns, textures, and materials can dramatically change the look of a room, as illustrated in this fireplace façade. Combining different elements to create a cohesive look starts with choosing a primary material and building on contrasting colors, finishes, and surfaces that blend well together. BOTTOM LEFT: With the fireplace as a focal point, this space starts with neutral tones, relying on unique shapes and textures to provide visual interest. We designed it to fit the needs of a busy couple, with comfortable seating, easy-to-clean surfaces, and simple accessories. BOTTOM RIGHT: Modern style has its appeal, but moderating the clean lines and sleek surfaces requires bold accents to add personality. In this space, the emerald green fireplace and vibrant artwork add touches of color without overwhelming the overall design.
