ABOVE: The square footage of this owner's bedroom created an uncommon challenge: How to create an intimate, cozy bedroom within a veritable ballroom of a space. We
met the challenge head on by using wider, floor-to-ceiling drapery; a large-scale flocked wall covering with a larger-scale pattern repeat; space designating, hand-woven
area rugs; and statement ceiling fixtures. The result was a bold yet elegant aesthetic that provided three inviting spaces: a sleeping area, a lounging area for movie nights,
and a reflecting area for reading or meditating fireside.
