ABOVE & FACING PAGE: The new owners of this Mount Pleasant townhouse embraced color, specifically the apple green paint that helped delineate the newly opened
living room f rom the kitchen. Turning the back wall into one made entirely of glass helps with the classic townhouse conundrum of not having windows on every wall, and
eight-foot-tall doors further elongate the room. Repeated design elements keep the harmony, such as the Old World-inspired onyx mosaic backsplash that also appears
on the fireplace surround and in the powder room. A wonderfully soulful craftsman that creates wood pieces f rom naturally fallen or felled trees supplied the red elm and
walnut for the island, which displays a live edge and can seat six. New terracotta stucco creates a cohesive façade that serves as a backdrop to the sleek backyard.
