Above: When presented with site constraints, careful thought is required to use them to your advantage. Placing a body of water between the
outdoor programming lets this space breathe.
Facing page top: Using the space's long linear lines and indoor-outdoor connections, the bar and dining areas were located near the home's
kitchen, and an outdoor living area was placed on the opposite side of the pool.
Facing page boom: The strong repeating vertical columns provide anchoring of the covered patios and protection from the desert's sun.
