Inspired Modern Living
"Doah House" is a tiny-cabin retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The 16-by-32-foot home sits on
four acres and is defined by simple, cozy modernity. It is designed to touch lightly on the land while elevating its
occupants' sense of connection with nature.
Its form and scale were partly inspired by the backpacker huts and shelters that dot the length of the nearby
Appalachian Trail.
