3 Carolina Outdoor Lighting is guided by three enduring principles: integrity, innovation, and excellence — values shaped by a genuine affection for life outdoors and refined through years of practice in the art of nighttime design. Led by co-founders Maja Potocki and Jason Warren, the firm approaches outdoor lighting as a balance of creativity and precision. Each project is thoughtfully composed to reveal natural textures, guide viewers through an outdoor environment and enhance architectural features. Using premium-quality lighting systems and a refined design process, the team delivers installations that feel seamless, intentional, and lasting. Experience plays a defining role in the company's work — but it is never treated as the finish line. In an industry that continues to evolve, the team remains committed to ongoing curiosity and education, regularly training in emerging lighting technologies, new products, and advanced techniques. This dedication ensures their designs remain both technically current and artistically relevant. From initial concept through installation and long-term care, the company has built a reputation throughout Western North Carolina for setting a high standard in luxury outdoor lighting — one rooted not in illumination alone, but in artistry, craftsmanship, trust, and a deep understanding of how light transforms outdoor living. CAROLINA OUTDOOR LIGHTING ASHEVILLE, NC Carolina Outdoor Lighting ABOVE: With such a large area to illuminate, the owner's priority was clear, safe movement along the property's walking paths. In this region — and at this home in particular — black bear activity is a regular consideration, making thoughtful nighttime visibility essential. This lighting plan employs a deliberate hierarchy of light: higher-output fixtures are positioned in the background to establish depth and awareness, while lower-level illumination and horizontal light from bollards guide movement in the foreground.
