We sometimes call this drink "Heaven" because it's so yummy.
It's a classic drink from Venice that's served as a digestive
between the meal and dessert. Sgroppino is best made with
lemon sorbet, not ice cream. In Venice, your waiter might make
sgroppino at your table by beating the sorbet and prosecco
into a mixture as fluffy as whipped snow. I've heard this is a
favorite of Julia Roberts.
Sgroppino
yield: 2 (6-ounce) servings
2 ½ scoops lemon sorbet
4 tablespoons prosecco
4 tablespoons vodka
2 tablespoons whipped cream
Blend the sorbet and liquid ingredients.
