Praline Cheesecake
yield: 1 (9-inch) cake, 12-16 slices
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter, melted
6 tablespoons butter
½ cup brown sugar

4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
5 eggs
Combine all ingredients and pack down on the
bottom of a greased, spring form pan. Set aside.
In small saucepot, combine butter and brown
sugar. Heat on medium-high and stir until mixture
bubbles and sugar is dissolved. Don't let it overcook
and thicken, you want it pourable. Add pecans.
In mixer, blend cream cheese and sugar until
smooth. Add eggs one at a time until incorporated.
Pour into pan over graham cracker crust. Spoon
praline mixture over filling. Bake in water bath at
300 degrees until set.
Definitely a decadent ending to a meal. Make it ahead and sit back and enjoy with your guests!
