winemaker's insight
Made from grapes from our estate Kenny Hill Vineyard in the
Mill Creek area of the Walla Walla Valley, Christina's complexity,
concentration, and purity of fruit embody the best of what the
terroir has to offer. Christina is composed of five Dijon clones
sourced from Burgundy and planted specifically for this wine.
Grapes were gently pressed and co-fermented together before
sur lie aging in once-used French oak barrels. A tribute to the
personality of Marie Christina Den Hoed, this Chardonnay
embodies a well-defined character, balance, and grace.
