Photographs by Colby Kuschatka
established in 1972, to Boushey in Yakima Valley, StoneTree on
the Wahluke Slope, Red Mountain vineyards, and Conner Lee
and Candy Mountain in the Columbia Valley, Long Shadows
showcases a wealth of fruit diversity from across the state. It's
easy to see how Long Shadows has established a legacy of
award-winning wines for itself and has become a benchmark
for excellence.
With its emphasis on quality and its team of talented
winemakers, the wines sells out quickly each year. However,
guests can make reservations at either of the winery's two
tasting room to sample the portfolio. In Walla Walla, guests
enjoy a leisurely seated tasting while viewing the work of
acclaimed glass artist and Washington native Dale Chihuly. A
visit to the Woodinville tasting room, just 30 minutes northeast
of Seattle, also provides guests with a relaxing visit, reiterating
Long Shadows' diversity in offerings and experiences.
