Signature Wines and Wineries of Washington
sorting mechanism that does a better job than a team of skilled
men, leaving the team with only the best fruit. Interestingly, the
machine is named after the strong Mediterranean winds in the
Rhone Valley. The team also has their own bottling line. In order
to keep the grapes as pure as possible, only three sets of hands
ever touch the grapes throughout production: Ryan Driver, Ryan
Raber, and the assistant wine maker.
Kristine Bono is Tertulia Cellars' general manager and maintains
three tasting rooms located in Walla Walla, Woodinville, and a
satellite location in Dundee, Oregon. Her members have come
to love a unique feature of the winery: the Petanque club. What
exactly is petanque? Think of it as a French version of bocce
ball, played with shiny boules in any spot that has suitable dirt
and terrain. The membership count includes more than 40 loyal
members and continues to grow.
If you visit the Walla Walla tasting room, you'll see the unique
petanque terrain next to the estate vineyard.

three estate vineyards to craft roughly 3,500 cases annually.
BELOW LEFT: The winery is the perfect setting for playing Petanque or just
simply sitting and sipping on the patio while enjoying the sunsets.
BELOW RIGHT: A light-filled tasting room with panoramic views of the estate
vineyard welcomes guests all year. Experience our wine with our signature
pairing plates.
