Effective Ways To Get Your Marketing Brochure Noticed!

Brochures are a vital piece of your marketing arsenal. An intelligently written, captivating and well-designed brochure can land your company the next big account or sale!

However, grabbing their attention and getting them to act on it is the hard part. Prospects are going to give your brochure about 5 seconds of attention in order to decide if they’re going to read it or not.  With its limited space, it might seem like a no-brainer when it comes to your brochures content and design, but there are some definite do’s and don’ts when compiling and designing such an important marketing pamphlet.

#1 Be unique and creative – This is of the utmost importance! Outshine the competition and make your marketing brochure design stand out from the rest.

#2 Design an interesting cover – It should go without saying, if the cover doesn’t grab their attention they’ll never look inside.  Use minimal words and vibrant imagery to attract customers.

#3 AIDA – Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. To be effective, your brochure needs to get attention, get the prospect interested enough to read further, raise their desire for the product or service, and get them to take a specific action.

#4 Bullet points – Feature-rich bullet points will help keep them focused on what you offer and lead them towards the action you want them to take next.

#5 Call to action – If you don’t urge the reader to act now, and don’t give them a reason to do so, your efforts in getting attention, building interest and desire will be wasted. Urge them to call now, place an order online, schedule an appointment, stop by your store, etc.

#6 Make it easy to respond – Be sure your business name, phone number and website url are easily found in the brochure. Also, add your Facebook or Google+ business page when applicable.
