Opening aromas of dark fruit, pipe tobacco, and anise lead
to a lively palate of ripe cherries, blackberry cobbler, and
sage. Elegant tannins and bright acidity showcase a graceful,
beautifully concentrated wine that pairs perfectly with food or
shines on its own.
winemaker's insight
The cornerstone of Dunham Cellars winemaking is our Cabernet
Sauvignon. Primarily estate fruit, we also seek some of the best
outside vineyard sources throughout the Columbia Valley to
help create this blend. This allows us to exhibit both dark and
red fruit, as well as the savory elements of Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine always offers plenty of layers and complexity. It is
approachable on release but is built with the structure to age.
